History at Brook
Rationale
At Brook, our children as historians will explore the past with enthusiasm and vigour. They will be time detectives, learning about the past from examining objects, artwork and historical sources and drawing conclusions about the way people lived. They will build their general knowledge to know key dates in British and world history and the impact of significant people on the world in which they live today. Our children will be able to ask searching questions about historical events and be able to confidently explain similarities and differences. A Brook historian will be proud of their local area and be able to talk with pride about what makes our local area special.
