Key Stage 1 Cultural Visits
Pupils from Years 1, 2 and 3 have recently taken part in cultural trips to Birmingham Public Library, Snow White and the Severn Dwarfs at Birmingham Hippodrome and Sleeping Beauty and the Grand Theatre Wolverhampton.
At the library we met the current Birmingham Poet Laureate, who was working on her extended poem about Birmingham. She will be publishing this later this year. She talked about her work and pupils were able to ask questions.
Both pantomimes were fantastic and the children had a wonderful time. Members of the public commented on their excellent behaviour.
We are hoping to run similar trips next year.
