Pond Development Fundraiser 2017
On Friday 7th April the whole school was water themed to raise money towards the fabulous new pond development in the school community garden.
During the morning we held year group "Wake and Shake" followed by watery games, including hook-a-duck, bean bag throw and the extremely popular wet sponge throw with Ms Cartwright and Mrs Bloomfield.
During the afternoon, we held our sponsored land swim with children and teachers completing 10 laps of the school field using different swimming strokes such as front crawl, back stoke and doggy paddle.
The weather was on our side and we were able to enjoy the fun and sunshine outside.
A great time was had by all, even a slightly damp Ms Cartwright and Mrs Bloomfield!
